Scavaway Tickets

 

Another new thing for 2010. As from 7th March 2010, Merseyrail will not be issuing Saveway tickets in the current 'scratch off' form and in future the ticket will be issued via the STAR machine and look like an ordinary ticket, except it is classed as a Ranger and has a large date.

It should be possible in the future for this type of ticket to be used in the Automatic Ticket Barriers on some stations.

Happy New Year for 2010, wonder what this year will bring in the life of Merseyrail, Well a new Customer Service Experiance has been implemented.

Perhaps as part of this, new Network Maps are being fixed to the cove panels of trains, this one seen on 507 032, showing places of interest and their nearest station.
